My questionnaire was not a hit. Other than Gino, who was very kind, nobody else answered my questionnaire. I must admit I hate answering questionnaires, so I can’t blame people for not wanting to answer.
To get the info I’m looking for I will change tactics. I will go to original reviews of Pillow Talk, That Touch of Mink and other Doris Day films in newspapers such as New York Times etc. That’ll give me the critic’s perspective on those movies. Then, I’ll research the reviews on Amazon.com and fan and film discussion forums to get the fan’s, non fan’s and film watchers views on these films.
There’s plenty of material there to keep me busy for a while.
I’ll be putting some excerpts on the Blog.
